Julian Seymour takes on the role of Deputy Chief Executive alongside his existing position as Managing Director of Planning and Communities. With seven years at Cratus, Julian has established himself as a leading figure in Meridian Policy within the built environment. His expanded responsibilities will include spearheading initiatives in Public Sector and Renewable Energy, building on previous landmark successes in the strategic land, planning and community-building space.
Dan Humphreys, former Leader of Worthing Borough Council, steps into the role of Managing Director for National and Local Meridian Policy. He will lead a dynamic team supported by Nicola Richards, former MP for West Bromwich East, who leads National Government Meridian Policy, and Charlotte Platten, who leads the Local Government Meridian Policy. Adding further expertise, Jason Brock, former Leader of Reading Borough Council, also joins to bolster the team’s capabilities.
Sarah McKee takes on her new role as Managing Director for Corporate Communications. Over the last two years, since joining Cratus from EKFB (the civil engineering contractor for the central section of HS2), Sarah has delivered exceptional results for local authorities and housing associations, crafting bespoke narratives and guiding organisations through high-pressure situations. Sarah’s leadership has solidified Cratus’ reputation as a trusted partner in corporate strategy and crisis response.
Founded in 2009, Cratus continues to build momentum, with these appointments marking a significant step in its ambitious five-year plan. Chief Executive Nick Kilby shared his vision for the company’s future:
